Step by step method

  • Step 1

    In a small saucepan beat egg yolks with powdered sugar.

  • Step 2

    Blend in heavy cream.

  • Step 3

    Over medium to low heat, heat for 5 minutes: DO NOT ALLOW TO BOIL!

    Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.

    Chill.
